Gasthaus Hummel offers a pleasant retreat, especially if you're looking for a balance between comfort and value. Nestled just outside Duggendorf, the hotel presents a beautiful yet quiet location, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed, though I found it curious that while cold water was provided, a fridge wasn't available for keeping it cool. The building, an older structure refreshed on the ground floor, houses two dining options-one boasting a Michelin star. We opted for the more casual restaurant, where the food was genuinely good and hit the spot, especially paired with the excellent breakfast served by a delightful lady. Our room was clean and equipped with all the essentials: a comfy bed, a strong shower, and free Wi-Fi. Parking was hassle-free, and I felt secure leaving our motorbike there. Gasthaus Hummel strikes a solid balance between luxury and value, making it a thoughtful choice for travelers keen on both comfort and experience.
